Welsh mills

I have been very lucky, Drawing has always been my hobby and I have been able to do it almost every day of my working life. Now having done 55 years I can concentrate on other things I enjoy drawing. Mills are working buildings and are disappearing quickly so if they are not recorded now we may never have the chance. I have lots of drawings for each mill, only a few are shown here. If you want to see more please email me

At the Welsh National Heritage Museum at St Fagans nr Cardiff, there are five relocated buildings that use water wheels to drive their internal machinery. I have been fortunate in being allowed to measure and draw them. The surveys of the stuctures and some of the equipment is ongoing but the wheels and most of the equipment are shown for those below
