Rhydlydan

These drawings are based on a survey carried out by David H Jones in 1968. I am grateful for his help and the guidance and photographs supplied by Tim Booth, Ken Fisher, Tom Elliot and the Royal Commission in Aberystwyth, without their help these drawings would not been produced so accurately. I am also grateful and acknowledge the depth of information and comprehensiveness of a survey and report carried out by Robert Anthony in 1989 on the mill.

Ken Fisher is a partner in an Architectural practice in Birmingham APEC Architects. They have prepared a project for the mill site which includes converting the millers cottage and the barn to help finance the restoration of the mill. The scheme provides 12 self-catering holiday lets, set around the access drive and courtyard, providing a variety of sizes of units and addressing the shortfall in wheelchair accessible holidays in the area. There are one or two details yet to be confirmed on site so hopefully I will be able to visit the mill later this year
