Tylwch

Tylwch Mill, is near Llanidoes, Powys and is another Mill saved from oblivion by David H Jones who carried out a survey in April 1968. The mill was in ruins even then as shown in his photo. ( Leaky roof syndrome again ).  Adjacent to the mill was a three bay kiln which I have no dimensions, photo’s or any other information on. The part David found to be of the greatest interest in this mill was the addition of a second stone by adding the layshaft from the pit wheel. There is a record of remnants of a Winnower and a flour dresser from another source, if their positions can be established I will add them to the drawings.

If you have any additional information about the mill please let me know.
