Knowles mill is owned by the National Trust but is looked after by two very enthusiastic members of the Midlands Wind & Water Mills Group, Tom Elliot & Tim Booth. The drawings below are preliminary as some of the missing equipment is under debate ie the method of operating the sack hoist and the penstock are two points under discussion, but If you have views or would like to comment on the method of operation please contact me.
